Superbowl: Top 5 Wings (and Things) in Essex County

This Sunday is the biggest football game of the year, and that means one thing ... it's time for wings in Essex County!

The National Chicken Council estimated that more than 1.3 billion wings were eaten during Super Bowl weekend — and that number just keeps going up year after year.

Essex County is no exception in their love for wings — and our restaurants sure know how to make wings delicious enough we can't help but devour them down to the bone!

It seems everyone has their favorite local restaurants to order wings. Here are some of our favorite Essex County-owned restaurants to order wings:

Cloverleaf Tavern

Slow-smoked for two hours before being quickly fried and tossed in a house-made chile-lime sauce. People love both bbq and spicy. Topped with toasted sesame seeds, scallion and cilantro. Their burnt ends and baked beans are a great addition.
