One question we get asked often is "how do you guide a toddler to wear a mask?" One of our classmates has you covered; show your kids. Watching someone their own age oftentimes encourages behavior.
Foundations Prep School opened its doors with 16 students on September 12, 2005, originally as a church-sponsored daycare. Our mission at FPS this fall is to help our students feel as safe as possible, especially with their socialization skills and classroom environment strategies. Your child will have a consistent and fun learning environment, which does provide that important foundation for becoming a self-educator for the rest of their lives. We completely understand that this is a time of the unknown, but we are confident that if you join our FPS community, we will do our very best to uphold our values and commitment to your child’s safety, socialization, and education!
We welcome everyone to come to have an in-person tour of our facility, which is up-to-date on all State licensing requirements and the most current COVID protocols, to help promote the safety of all who enter our center. To schedule a tour please visit our website: www.foundationsprepschool.com.
FPS offers care and learning in eight classrooms for children, ages six weeks to six years. (Summer camp is available to FPS Alumni through age 7 years.)
Foundations Prep School is State Licensed but purposefully remains independent (we are not a corporate or franchise daycare) to have the freedom to make changes as needs arise.
We can’t wait to see you!
Thank you!
Lauren and Cassie, Owners, and Simone and Priscilla, Director and Assistant Director, Foundations Prep School
Cassie Saquing (part of the FPS start-up team) and Lauren Torres (a former FPS Teacher and FPS Assistant Director) purchased Foundations Prep School from the church and remain committed to the founding principles of FPS, which include providing high-quality and personalized care for children in this community.
Parent testimonial: “Both our daughters went to Foundations. Our daughters are now 17 and 15, but we are still friends with many of the parents/staff from back then. It was a wonderful place for our kids to go and learn and grow. I miss those days of how little they were and feel like it was just yesterday we met Cassie and everyone at Foundations. This isn’t just a place where you drop your kids off and pick them up; it’s a true community within a community and I’d recommend FPS 100 out of 100 times to parents who are looking for a great place to help in raising, protecting and caring for their kids.”
Keep finding your family fun!
