Did I just pee myself?!

When should I see a Pelvic floor/Womenโ€™s Health Physical Therapist?

By Jessica Kline, Publisher + Editor Macaroni Kid Clifton-Montclair September 22, 2021

No matter if you delivered your baby 6 weeks, 6 months, or 6 years ago - if you are dealing with leaking when coughing, sneezing, laughing, or jumping, if you have diastasis recti or weakened abdominals, or even if you have hip or low back pain, we can work towards relief from those symptoms; it is never too late!

Many women are told “well, you had a baby, what do you expect” when they talk about incontinence, a weak core, pain with sex, or any other symptoms related to pregnancy and postpartum, making it seem like these symptoms are normal things to experience, but they aren’t! So what can we do about that? An evaluation from a pelvic health therapist can be your first step to relief! Together we will find the source of your symptoms and address them through prescriptive movements and tailored exercises to get you back to where you want to be.  Feel free to reach out to me at expectingwellpt@gmail.com or via text or phone at (201)-497-0117.
