Guys! I'm losing my mind a little bit...
As Covid spreads, and we are on what feels like a never-ending holiday break while trying to be extra cautious (again) I find myself experiencing some reminiscent emotions. I really want to crawl under a thick blanket for a really snuggly date with my boyfriend named Netflix and instead, I'm trying to come up with 2349872523498 activities for my kids and family all while my head is a constant running to-do list of things I want and need to do including exercise which I haven't had much self-motivation for lately.
You know the people who are always like "oh everything is GREAT!"...well that isn't me . I just can't connect with someone right now who isn't admitting that Covid fatigue is a real thing. I find it therapeutic to vent assuming other people out there may be feeling the flood of PTSD from quarantine rushing back in, too. The good news is that in a matter of hours we get to say goodbye to 2021.
I'm wishing you all a healthy and safe New Year! May we all remind ourselves to be grateful and at the same time can we also admit things are a bit challenging at the moment.
