The School of Rock Montclair Community Outreach Committee is proud to announce our open mic event later this month at Just Jakes in Montclair to kick off our benefit for S.O.F.I.A.! Come out and join us to rock out for this amazing cause. We will be having our incredible Houseband perform, and some of our students in their own bands Chasing Paragon and Nitro Blues!
From the S.O.F.I.A website: “Start Out Fresh Intervention Advocates (fondly referred to as S.O.F.I.A.) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides advocacy, supportive services and referrals for temporary housing to “at-risk” women and children of domestic violence. Our mission is to provide domestic violence victims and survivors with assistance and encourage them to be positive, self-sufficient, and successful."
