We are collecting valentines for kids in the hospital this February

Let’s spread kindness and smiles to children in need at St. Joseph's!

Looking for a reason to do a craft with your kids? Looking to explain how to give back to the community? We are collecting your Valentine’s for the THIRD YEAR to give to children in NJ at the outpatient pediatric clinic for cancer and blood disorders/the Valerie Fund Center at St. Joseph’s Children's Hospital.

We at Macaroni Kid Clifton-Montclair want to take advantage of our reach in the community and spread kindness and smiles to local children stuck in a hospital for Valentine's Day. With your help, we have delivered hundreds of cards in the past to children at St. Joseph's and want to do it again!

Task: Make Valentine's with your kids and have all the fun while teaching empathy by explaining the large impact they will be making in doing something that feels small.

We know the questions you'd like to ask; we hope we answered them below:

  • No need to include envelopes, but if you do, do not lick them
  • No glitter
  • Do not say “get well soon”, Happy Valentine’s Day is perfect!
  • Drop off locations that will have a box for your valentines (drop off by 2/5/2026)
