The night before Montclair Pride, join Out Montclair for a flag-raising and rally.
Our mission is to build a community for people who are marginalized, to create safe spaces so no one feels alone, to recognize how we are targeted for violence, and to build capacity through knowledge, resources, and in-person advocacy.
Montclair Pride -- the marquee event for Out Montclair is unique from most if not all other Pride events. There is the celebration, of course, but in addition, revenue generated at Pride is invested back into year-round educational and community programming to create safe spaces and offer resources to LGBTQIA+ teens, families, and seniors, as well as trans/gender non-conforming/nonbinary people of all ages, teens and adults in two distinct program streams. The work of Montclair Pride and its “week” of events all go to support our LGBTQIA+ community year-round.
