Description
The Passaic County Parks & Recreation Department along with the Friends of Garret Mountain Reservation are planning a fun-filled, educational celebration of Earth Day! There will be events scheduled all day. The Earth Day Expo which will exhibit Earth-friendly vendors will be on display from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Activities include:
- Adult Bird Walk with Montclair Bird Club
- Hike & Trail Clean-Up with Passaic Valley Girl Scouts, Service Unit 170
- Earth Day Expo with activities & information from Earth-friendly vendors
- Family Bird Walk
- Ceremonial Tree Planting
- Hike & Draw Activity with James Sisti
- Children's Environmental Education Program with Lokai Rose
- Adult Tree Meditation Program by Partner with Nature
- Nature Hike with Friends of Garret Mountain Reservation
