Warm weather and summer activities will be here soon. Programs are filling up earlier than ever, register as early as you can this year for availability and the best rate!

Macaroni Kid has listed some of our favorite researched summer options. We are always looking to partner with fantastic camps and classes to showcase summer opportunities for your kids. Camps and activities are consistently updating their websites for summer plans, make sure to check in with each business for the most up-to-date information.

MUSICAL THEATER SUMMER CAMPS: TWO SESSIONS: July 3 - 20 and July 31 - 17
Programs provide memorable experiences that will highlight your child's talents and improve their performing arts skills. This a great way to engage young people and give them a sense of unity, and an outlet to learn and gather. We are positive that your child will enjoy themselves and learn through this process with our world-renowned faculty. The camp includes a variety of activities and culminates into a live full-scale production on the bergenPAC stage. Earth and Sky School is a nature-inspired, multi-aged, play-based program in the Forest. Hours are 9-1 pm with an optional extended day 9-3 pm.

thecoderschoolmontclair (Montclair)

Ages 7-10+

Camps run from 9 am- 3 pm from June 26 until August 25

Camps are held at our coding facilities to create a uniquely collaborative environment where the kids work together, code together, and have a-rockin' fun summer together! All of the camp offerings are currently available for in-person only. Come explore your interests from video game development to robotics to creating websites now!
Want to code? We have many options for coders of various age groups! Check out our:

• Game Development Camp (age 7-10): We'll be using cool drag n' drop language like Scratch or Snap to create us some cool new and classic games! Aimed at our newbie or novice coders.
• WebRox (age 10+): Code with all the base web technologies like HTML/CSS and Javascript and get a real live website going! Novice or intermediate coders.
• Minecraft Educational (age 8+): Using Minecraft, students learn how to build, create, and modify their worlds through coding in a structured environment.
• Robocode (age 8+): If you're intrigued by the thought of controlling physical robots, look no further than our Robocode camp!
• Python Startup (age 10+): Start slowly or code fast, this camp is for our intermediate coders - no Python experience necessary!

Do you want to learn how to play in a band? School of Rock Montclair offers a wide variety of music camps for any musical taste. Our music camps are perfect for musicians of any skill level who want to play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals. At the end of the week, the students will perform a live concert!
